Published with the support of Gallery Karl Pfefferle and a co-production on artistic level with Paul Schwer. The cylinder was a sur plus with the exhibition Das Fruchtfleisch unserer Architektur Paul and me made in Munich at the gallery. We also did a 7” record together. Maybe the cylinder and the exhibition wasn’t just enough or we just wanted more, more of the same but then differently.

Published with the support of Museumcultuur Strombeek-Gent (BKSM & SMAK) for the occasion of the exhibition Wave III. Silver glossy images shot by my brother of the Ur Gerausch Kammer Ensemble landing on a Berlin sound clash of guitars, drums and aluminum. In order to keep the balance I added some pictures with the same gloss of painting attempts during some lonely Berlin nights.

This second Cylinder edition is published along the exhibition carrying the same title as the magazine and a 1-year residence at Kunstlerhaus Bethanien. Cylinder 2 is printed in mono-tone C, co-published and distributed by MER Paper Kunsthalle.

The first Cylinder edition is published along the exhibition Inside the Cylinder at Le Transpalette in Bourges and the starter for many more tasteful editions to follow. Cylinder is appearing irregularly and will go up to 10 editions after which a book, but more about that later!
Cylinder is co-published and distributed by MER Paper Kunsthalle.
