Excess. A love affair with overdriven sound — overloaded material and content. The inspiration for this series comes from seven essays featured in The Wire, a music magazine I tend to use as a note-gathering source, which also becomes a personal jotting pad to pool ideas together… a pool I can dive into without fear of drowning, as there is seemingly unlimited oxygen within its waters. It was from this pool that I plucked out the voice of one of its writers, Daniel R. Wilson.
